Robertsbridge Children's Services - Child care, Nursery, Pre-Schools

Parents and carers agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility: RCS is for children aged 0 to 5 years old.

Opening hours: RCS will be open from 8am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday and children will be in our care during those times 51 weeks of the year.

Fees: See Fees document. Receipts will be issued on request. Fees for pre-school places are calculated according to the Early Years Entitlement Fund. All other fees are set in line with our policy as a non-profit making charity to provide affordable quality childcare over 51 weeks per year.

Non-attendance: Please advise if your child is unable to attend for more than two weeks. If we have not received advice, we cannot guarantee a place for your child. If your child is absent owing to an infectious disease, it is important that the manager is notified at the earliest opportunity. Once sessions have been booked, no changes can be made until the following term unless it is  to add additional sessions.

The normal weekly payment of fees will be payable until the notice has been reached.

Challenging behaviour: Parents and carers will be informed verbally wherever possible after each written incident, and the incident record sheet will be made available.

Security: For the sake of children’s safety, no unauthorised visitors will be permitted in the dedicated children’s areas during sessions.

Insurance: All children, staff and volunteers attending sessions are covered by the Robertsbridge Children’s Services public liability insurance displayed in the main entrance.

Arrivals and departures: Children must be collected by a person named on the registration form. The parent or carer will give RCS a password to be used to authorise collection. In the event of a child not being collected, every effort will be made to contact the parent or carer. If attempts fail, then after an hour Social Services will be contacted for advice. RCS cannot accept responsibility for the late collection of children. Persistent late collection will result in the imposition of a fine and your child’s place within the provision will be reveiwed.

There is no provision for parking on the school site; we recommend that you park on George Hill or on one of the village car parks.
